Learning Outcome #6
Outcome 6 (Sentence-Level Error) – Control sentence-level error (grammar, punctuation, spelling). (Word Count: 180)
As for sentence-level errors in my writing, I feel as though I do pretty well with that too. As I write, I do little revisions along the way before I do my final touches after my whole piece is written. I also have either my friends or family proofread my writing to make sure it makes sense. Sometimes I will read my writing out loud when I do not have access to friends/family.

For example, in my second essay, I think my word choice helped me bring in the larger conversation about empathy without scaring readers off with large and pretentious vocabulary words. I feel as though this adds a nice relatability within my writing as people can connect with words and stories that have easy to understand meanings.
As for punctuation around quotes, I do well with this too.

As seen in the image above, I used the quotation marks well around my actual quote from the article. I had the correct in text citation since I had already introduced the writer and his article before my quote.
